This topic is dedicated to the Dead Hand, The most badass mini-boss in history

To any of you that have played and beat OoT, most of you probobly remember this particular mini-boss. This is by far, one of the creepiest things ever done in a zelda game. Really.

It took me two years to muster up the courage to beat "under the well" because of this boss (I was 8 then btw). Although now that I look back, I realize how childish that was of me, but I think we all have to agree, this guy kicks ass.

It would be nice if you would just accept the fact that trying to look badass by saying something that's ****ing creepy actually isn't doesn't work.

When I first played the game, I thought Redeads were pretty bad.


Then I went down the tunnel, heard the music, and shut my N64 off immediately. No way in hell was I going into that dungeon.



3 months later, I gathered the courage to get the dungeon done... almost. I got into that room, saw the hands and was like "... what the." Got caught by one, saw Dead Hand rise up from the depths of hell formed into Earth and immediately shut off the system again, leaving the game for 6 months without playing.

hell redeads were scary enough without the creepy music, I could barely ****ing even do that little Royal Family Tomb

Ahhhh, how scared we were when we were young.

I can bare the tomb but the well still scares me to death

I love ikana.

But I don't like the gibdo well

ha ha


it only does slightly to me still because the amount of polygons and low-quality texturing freaks me out

its more or less just the music


and the sounds the redeads make


aaaaagh

i get creeped out by the music and the talking walls

redeads don't scare me and even that one room you walk right into where you have to IMMEDIATELY play sun's song or get eaten by a gibdo didn't scare me either (I was just like OH DEAR I'D BETTER PLAY MY FAIRY FLUTE)

invisible things kinda scared me too :[ and wallmasters are startling i'm like WAZZAT NOISE oh it's master hand


... and that face in the well is like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH



EDIT: me and klobber have both had dreams where we were being chased by dead hand who was dancing to stayin' alive and we never were afraid of him ever again
