Music?, Got deleted with the timewarp :/

Who is going to make the music?
I could if I am allowed. Just give me the keys for the used songs because I must put them in some kind of keyboard generator. I use eJay, it's a pretty good sampling program.

My opinion:

Well, in the case of this topic, if you are really going to make the music, try to make at least one for each world-themed stages. If you're really inspired, i would suggest you to make one for each stage, through. You could do Mario remixes or create your own that would fit the stage. Like i said, you could rely oin chorus-like parts for a Bowser Castle remix. I believe that's not too hard to do...

Makin chorus or opera music IS definitely hard work, and no I can't do it.
And for what Irock said, I need some keyboard keys, read my first post plz.

We have several music creators, and we'd like to concentrate more on original, creative pieces of work, though we can have remixes thrown in.


I was thinking we could have people who create the higher-quality (in rendering terms) music to make some of the non-common music (cut-scene music, bosses, etc), while the rest could create more common music (level/world music, some menus maybe, more commonly heard music).

BTW, for Wario and Waluigi's game, I say use some Mario Kart DS tracks.
For Mario and Luigi's game, use some Galaxy/Sunshine/Banjo-Tooie tracks.

I'd like to hear a Rapheal the Raven (from Paper Mario) remix if we have some kind of jungle level personaly.

We already mentioned we're not using ripped music for the game, we have enough musicians to not have to do that.

If you're mentioning remixes, that's fine, but we'd really like to have a lot of original music, with a few remixes thrown out.

Yeah, I meant remixes. But if you want original music, that is actually best.

I think it'd be cool to have a leitmotif in the game. Like, a few of us collaborate and make a theme song for the game. After that, the other musicians would create their own pieces, tying in the main theme.

Just an idea. Twilight Princess is a prime example of this, if you wanted a reference point.
