you're not missing anything except "geometry is kind of hard at first"

I feel stupid for going to a class full of sophomores that have an average of F :V

I mean, we are reviewing the Exit Exam with them and it's ****ing retarded.

Should've taken Advanced Geometry with the normal honors freshman

I'm afraid I would have to majorly disagree with the idea that being homeschooled results in lack of social skills (or lack of discipline).

I'm a former homeschooler and I happen to lack both, but I have friends who are extremely social and also homeschooled, and I think discipline is largely dependent on how strict the rules one's parents set are. (I recall getting a lot of leeway, though otherwise the education was top-notch.)

On another note, not to brag, but I actually got out of math classes for my associate's degree in college altogether, because I tested out of Calculus with a CLEP test, getting all questions correct.

:X

HAHA poor Ravan! ...

Actually I'm sorry sad.gif My mommy picked a class for me once way back in 5th grade and I hated it. I actually felt guilty when I complained to her about it because she thought I'd enjoy the class..

But uh... yeah, sorry to hear the bad news bub. Better luck next year!

It's not generally speaking but rather my personal experience. I always lived in a country/rural setting and was homeschooled along with my younger siblings. Never was I once in some social activity, sport or otherwise communing with individuals outside my family for the majority of my life save in church. The 'lack o discipline' comes from the type of teacher you get, in this case mom, who was rather lenient when it came to the whole thing. Some of my friends were really quite strict and focused on homeschooling. Don't get me wrong, homeschooling is a great thing and it works often for lots of people. It just wasn't good for me.

I'll take "I'm antisocial and I have no friends" over "I am going to go to this hellhole every day just so I can get picked on and probably end up taking my own life at age 16 and thus never becoming social in the end WAH WAH WAH CUT CUT CUT" any day

It is nothing but me and a subscribed program where I have text books sent to me and take exams online

Alternative Explanation: there is no possibility I can properly function around people because I am nobody
