DS IS region free my friends. In fact, I own this game on my DS now

Sure, the menus (and box and manuel) are in Japanese, but it still a VERY fun game if you can navigate through the menus (not hard really, because there is a small amount a menus in it)! I got it (off Ebay) because Balloon Fight is my most favorite NES game!

I looked into it some more and found out they are console locked. I was wrong.

Was about all I could find this time. Looks like we would really need that Free loader in order to override the console lock. I was thinking those WiiKey whatever things you can get from sources, not the real thing. Sorry.

Uh, yeah, my question is regarding the Wii Freeloader itself, not any games.

Because it sounds like the Freeloader uses a boot-up sequence that stops the Wii Disc Drive before it even has a chance to check whether the Freeloader disc is for the region or not. But, if it has to do a bootup sequence, that means the Wii still has to load it, meaning that there might be a possibility that the Wii will still check the Freeloader disc itself to see if it's NTSC or PAL, meaning the possibility of buying the Freeloader in NA, sending it over to Europe, and using it on a Wii there could be ruled out.
