I searched up the error on google for Blitz 3D. Some people say it has to do with the resolution and other window/full screen settings, but I tried every combination in the configuration, and it gave the error every single time.

What's causing it, dude?

Are your video card drivers/motherboard drivers installed? Because if they aren't, then that is most likely the reason you are getting errors.

pretty sure if they weren't, i wouldn't be able to play my Steam games and a host of other games quite fine

Actually, if they weren't, I probably wouldn't even be able to browse this forum.

@Black Boo, I've never experienced anything like that, Any specific place it happens?

@DJ Yoshiman, Maybe it's your Graphics Card that isn't good enough for this, Do you know which Graphics Card you have?

@Majiczenith, Thanks :) Yeah, I'm going to rewrite a lot of the movement code, as well as code some automatic camera movement, and the blur is the Depth of Field effect (DoF) which I'll adjust aswell ;)

@iceinwar, Seems like your Graphics Card isn't good enough, or there's some other technical issue.

My graphics card is enough to run Steam games like TF2, Half Life 2 Episode 2 and Portal all on advanced, high settings.

It's an ATI Radeon 9700.

You would be able to use this forum because of basic Windows drivers, but your video card is definitely powerful enough.

yeah all i get is "unknown runtime exception" when starting it

XP MCE 2005 and a radeon x1900xt (and the drivers which i installed a few hours ago) are obviously more than enough for this game

Well I first saw it at Bob-omb Battlefield, but it's been happening everywhere.
Another glitch was when I was on the slide, the camera faced Mario's face, and I couldn't see where I was going. That makes you fall off into infinity. I think you should make a mesh that restarts the room.

Or an invisible Wall like at Super Mario 64 and a mesh that restarts the room. wink.gif
It looks great, but Mario moves his body fast(Bodymovement, like Legs, Arms, etc.), but he moves normal(He runs at regular speed), at least at my PC he does this. Strange, huh?
