By that logic, Ruby should be the succesor. But that isn't possible.

I just think it's a cool name and it fits. Unfortunately, it may very well be Quartz. I dunno.

um what i don't think you understand

prism does not fit the theme, for god's sake, prisms aren't even any sort of jewel

prism = transparent lens that reflects light

aka possible for one to be made of glass

and glass is a pretty rare gemstone mirite?

Lucario took me ages, then I looked it up, and the Japanese was roughly Rukario, and then any trouble pronouncing it was gone

There's probably ten Pokémon whose names I regularly pronounce wrong
