Who's got the sweetest disposition? Group: Members Posts: 20184 Member No.: 685 Joined: 23-November 04 Status: (0d)	Yeah, I've been on Abilify for like... a year? It's weird because it's an anti-psychotic yet I have never had ANY psychotic symptoms. I'm finally off it and on a new one that's a mood stabilizer, and I'm doing GREAT! The change occurred two weeks ago but it's kicking in. Expect better out of me. Like, at school I normally NEVER TALK and always stare at my desk or at the ground while walking. Today in Algebra 2 I talked to five random people I've never talked to and they took it well! I've been hyper and bouncy and awesome. This med has been a great tool. The other med took a toll on me though but it's finally out of my system. Again, expect better out of me. =D

It's not easy for an individual to cope with that. I know when my brother had to take on average 6 pills 3 times a day, I was really disappointed and irritated with the amount of pills that he'd have to take, and even seeing some of those pills were freaky.

But it's just something you get used to, because they really are for the better.

Glad to hear you're starting to take initiative in life, Mason. Even if it is because of meds, you at least know what it's like... and maybe you'll be able to do it completely on your own soon.
