Mario Abilities

Even we use old ones, lets come up with some original ideas for these.

Like fire mario should actually be on fire.

We should consider using the SM64 and NSMB triple jumps, ground pound, etc.

I like this, but maybe just his hands and feet.

Tornado Mario- Clothes are normal but overalls are white, and only when he has this, can spin. Useable with other powerups, if not too complicated.

Angry Mario- Mario gets angry, this lasts only for thirty or so seconds, and is in an uncontrollable rage.

I think we should also include Mega Mario, Metal Mario (because awesome), and Wing Cap.

Cosmic Mario:
Takes on the appearance of cosmic mario, gives him the ability to fly and do a galaxy spin.

Cape.
We need the cape, it would open up a whole new aspect of exploration like SMW did instead of the traditional side-scrolling non vertical moving levels.
Or at least something that can fly.

Um... I already made a powerup topic. I belive this is for basic moves, like punch and spin jump.

Rapid Mushroom - A navy mushroom with light blue spots. It gives Mario the ability to slowly gain speed bit by bit and eventually go really fast. I'll give an example in animation.

@ Spritanium, Are you still doing spriteing Wario?

Perhaps... Monty Mario? He's a spin-off of Monty Mole. He can also burrow underground... just a thought.

How about Boomerang Mario? We already have Fire and Hammer, why not boomerang?

Kinda like Nappse's but Instant:

Inertia Bolt- Gives Mario The ability to run at ludacrious speeds and when jumping he jumps twice the amount of his HIGHEST jump as bolts trail behind him which would make good use of particle effects
Costume: Standard red but Blue gets replaced by yellow (you can guess where I got that from)

Instant wouldn't be very good because it would look really unnatural and if it gained slowly it coan gradually get really fast.

It Supposed to be unnatural hence the name "Inertia" bolt which the powerup would allow you to defy the laws of motion.

I think something like the Monty Mario is a good idea. It fits the theme of the game really well and would make from some really interesting puzzles.
