What exactly are you putting on it? The only thing I can think of is porn, a bunch of games, and maybe a crap load of music. Anyway, I have 222 gigs total, and I'm at about 148 gigs left. I like to perserve my space. I guess using a computer with 12 GIGS max for 3 years sort of taught me to save space. 100 gigs is considered low? Wow. You must be downloading 3-5 gigs crap daily.
