Maple Story Is So Much More Awesome Than Ro, GC version

General chat version, continue discussing here. We do not like whining babies saying "Ripoff" all the time, so don't do it.

I believe it is a ripoff because it has the same classes that RO does, similar-looking enemies (lol porings but edited into mushroom), similar interface, etc.

I'll give you this, MS has some of the classes Ro has, but just about every other game has that too, and I doubt that Gravity Corp. Has copyrighted Archers or Poring. On the whole poring arguement, I just want to inform you that The poring is a ripoff itself, the MMORPG Astonia II had a enemy called Dengerous blob, whcih for your information was a pink blob, just like the, OMFG REEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOFFFFFF Poring. I'll give you this too, yes the HUD is very alike the Ro one, why, for the same reason the interface in Sonic games are alike to the Mario games. Because that interface is the best, in many ways it is easy to use and looks good.

For your information, Astonia III has Six classes. Which are large, depending on how you train, it will become one of the subclasses listed below.

Final Fantasy 11 is still better, I should know, I've played RO and I found that it sucked quite bad.

Warning, warning, opinions detected in the general vicinity, recommend immediate bashing of that opinion.

in all seriousness, none of these games are "better" or "worse" than the other, it's a matter of opinion and preference.

RO is a ripoff of all D&D style games since they were all out first.

Seriously, you could say that about ANY RPG. Almost all RPGs have Wizard, Warrior, Thief and Archer/Ranger classes. And as Kritter said, it's a matter of personal preference over which is better, like almost everything is.

I think calling Maple Story a ripoff of RO is silly since the only real similarity is how it's an MMORPG (which is too vague) and some enemies have faces that look like porings, which only makes the enemy a ripoff.
