Read this articles, photos included.

The only thing I'm afraid of is the size of the DS cartridge... smaller even than a GBA cartridge? Oh well, just to have to be more careful is all.

Oh, and stylus worrywarts:
QUOTE
The game is awkward to play using the stylus since you have to support the system entirely with the same hand that's manipulating five of the control buttons.

But when you actually get the Thumb Strap on and slide the plastic bit with the tip of your thumb, the game controls much more naturally with very little discomfort. I will say that your thumb will wear out from overuse, but not nearly as much as your entire left or right hand would by playing using the stylus. Playing with the Thumb Strap has completely changed my opinion on Metroid Prime Hunters and first person shooters in general on the Nintendo DS, because the control is so much better using it.

Yes the Thumb Strap is included.

I am so jealous of those of you who preordered. :(

No need to be jealous of me SP.

I'm just trying to figure out which launch title I am getting for DS. It is between Metroid Prime Hunters and Super Mario 64 DS. I love the Metroid series, with the games sometimes being long the first time you play through, a little bit shorter the 2nd time and shorter and shorter each time you play through until you reach a point where times are equal. On the other Hand, Super Mario 64 DS is a remake of the First N64 game I ever owned, and it has Luigi in it. I would now be able to play one of my favorite games with one of my favorite characters. I'm really conflicted by the 2, but I think I'll have to go with Super Mario 64 DS since a Hunters Demo is included with the DS.

I can still edit my signature.

Yup, as it is now the 30th day of May in the year of 2010.

...I thought I read somewhere you didn't like the DS? Or were you joking? Or have you changed your mind?

And this thumb strap certainly satisfies my worries, as I think the stylus might be a bit fiddly and using your actual finger will mess up the screen. And it's also good that Mario 64 DS gets a use of the thumb strap as an analogue controller of sorts.

Lovely information and pictures nod.gif

Good news, GBA SP adapter = NDS adapter

QUOTE
The AC adapter isn't any different than the GBA SP unit's AC adapter, except with Nintendo DS printed on the unit instead of Game Boy Advance SP. There's a good reason for this: both systems can use either adapter.

BTW, the full Metroid Prime Hunters isn't avaliable at launch. Releasing demos of games before they're finished... quite un-Nintendo-ish.

I really like the look of the OS-ish start up menus. It's really nice that you can choose which screen to play GBA games on.

The thumb-strap is a great idea, but I think I'll use the stylus more for drawing-controlled games, like Pac-Pix and Picto-Chat.
