I was bored, and I had a game idea. I couldn't find the sprites, so i made my own.

I may do luigi, just maybe.

Except there's 15, since the hats don't count because you already used them in another sprite.

I dun' think these kind of sprites are allowed on the site.

EDIT: Nope. Excerpt from the guidlines: "We will not accept useless sprites. Even if they have decent quality, sprites can still be useless. A perfect example is a Super Saiya-jin Luigi holding a shotgun... standard Mario sprites are accepted, but not absurd edits.".

These are still good in my book.

For this case, it doesn't whether it's good. It still is against the criteria.

This isn't useless. In fact, I'm making a game that would actually need these sprites, and he's making a game using them, and I'm sure that they would do awesome in a sprite comic.

You should check this sheet to see how much is good amount.

That's kind of an odd example to use. These are far more reasonable than a "Super Saiya-jin Luigi holding a shotgun" as far as usefulness is concerned.

IMO these are in one of those "gray areas" - or at least they would be if more sprites are added (which they might still be).

I like these, and I can think of certain games or comics needings these.

But this isn't "Super Saiya-jin Luigi holding a shotgun", its a recolored Mario with a hat.

But, see, you're under the assumption that these are useless. It seems to me to be an uncertain sort of thing whether these are "useful" or not. At least one person does in fact think they're useful, and these are certainly a lot more useful than that example given in the submission rules.

It also sort-of breaks the fan characters rule, since you've just come up with it on the spot.

But as said these are essentially recolours with new hats

For future reference, his name should be "Indiana Mario: because:

1) You spelled the tail end of INDIANA wrong.

2) His name should then be "Mariana Jones", but then Mariana is the name of a certain gigantic idiot that MFGG as a whole likes to make fun of.

you could say Indiario?

Awesome edits though, but make the black on the hat fit the black on mario.
