it is still incredibly awesome and manages to stay fresh for me, even after all this time

it's probably the art style and simple humor that makes it so enjoyable

do you guys still enjoy this game?

Heck yes.

The style is so simple, and full of color and cartoony looks and detail. and there aren't specified levels, just areas where bosses pop up at random.

The one thing I HATED about PiT waas the specified levels and stuff. It basically lets you know the game is almost over.

In SS, you think your done and something else happens.

Haha yes.

ML:SS was much better then PIT.

I liked almost nothing of PIT, but pretty much everything the original.

Not to mention alot of the original characters in the first were far more original and fulfilling, and imo: way better music too.

I personally like ML:PiT better, mainly because the graphical style added a new dimension to the game, and ML:SS's graphics gave me a headache, not to mention I just loved how they structured the game (But that's just me)

If they were to make it tad more non-linear, not exactly like ML:SS, but just a bit more freedom added in, it could've been the best mario RPG ever

Well dont get me wrong, I liked PiT.

I like some of the Bros. Items, and the 4 character control. Plus Bowser Meeting Baby Bowser was pretty funny.

Oh, it's an okay game, has great humor, and some nifty stuff. I can agree, however, I can't say I enjoy it as much as M&L:SS though.

I agree. SS > PiT, but PiT is still a fun game IMO :p

SS was definately better at most things though.

The story for one... had a whole lot more twists. and for once, it wasn't a "find set number of objects to win" adventure. It went everywhere and it was awesome biggrin.gif

...Fawful is awesome and i can't wait to see where he goes from where he was in PiT... The simple fact that he is in the sequel makes both games even more awesome. I can't wait for his inevitable return in a future M&L game XD Seriously, Nintendo hardly ever connects plot characters in sequals for Mario games XD

I wonder if there will be a good 3rd?

I mean, we had two good Paper Marios, then they messed with the formula (SPM was fun, but it just didnt feel the same)

SPM was not the same game i must admit, but at times i found it more fun than the first two, and the humor was pwnificent as ever biggrin.gif

seriously, i hope Dimentio returns... or at least O-Chunks... those guys seriously pwn...

...

At any rate, I expect a good 3rd game after the first two awesome ones biggrin.gif even if the second one fell just short of the first :p If it has fury, then it automatically gets my humor approval XD
