I admit the only reason I use Internet Explorer is because I'm so used to it.

Back when I still went to school they had both, IE7 and FF there, and to my surprise, IE worked wonders while FF failed to load a page under 20 seconds.. I also remember trying the Safari beta on my friend's computer where it sucked megaballs but on an another friend's computer it worked all fine.
What really does Browser performance depend on?

note: caches. the 20 seconds was probably your school's horrid internet loading up the page for the first time, whereas IE had loaded up that same page multiple times so it was cached. also ff needs some optimization for your system.

what the hell is all this nostalgia about IE... 7? 6? Oh please I was still using IE 4 or something when erol internet wasn't on star. FF is way cleaner to me.

mmmm.

now if it could only run marquees right and show gifs without lag.
