Some may have heard off one of my first games called Super Mario Battle. It's a multiplayer game, which involves players to bump blocks and use their contents to wipe out the opponent. I've wanted to make an upgraded version of this game (like I've done from Mariodoom) for quite a while and got to it now.
Hope you like this engine test which features:
- Basic physics, jumping, item carrying and vegetable picking
- Two collectible items, mushroom (Makes Mario big and able to take extra hit without dieing) and mystery (starts a random event like making meteors fall from the sky or decreasing the gravity)
- Enemy obstacles: Goomba, Koopa, Lakitu, Spiny, Bob-omb, Cannon, Thwimp, Thwomp, Drybones and Bullet Bill
- Moving platforms of a few kinds
- Warp pipes
- Stage looping
- Block randomizing
Future plans:
- Gameplay up to four players simultaneously
- Starting menu with customizations
- More enemy obstacles
- More stages and environments
- Network play (very unlikely, however)
