Some art school stuff., Warning Nude people.

These are either 5 to 20 minutes. Meaning that I drew some of these in 5 minutes and some of these in 20 minutes. :P

Don't tell me that I could have spent more time on these pictures, because it was a live model and she was changing out every 5 minutes or 20 minutes, that's apasrt of figure drawing, learning how to do poses quick. (for those who do not know)

Still lifes however...These took me at least 10 hours, and that's not that much time to spend on these either, I could have spent 20 hours or 26 hours on it. =(









Last one is only two hours, needed more time though. =(

Of course with any quick sketches, you briefly get the posture down then you come back and re-work on them(adding shading/details). so I suggest you turn some of the quick figures into characters since their proportions look pretty good. maybe make the darker areas more dark to really bring out the object

also what type of paper are you drawing on. it seems like it's leaving some sort of texture(the still lives).

I don't like the paper though, it's News print. =(

I like to use Strathmore Charcoal paper though.

Why? I'm not trying to sound perverted or anything, but is one piece any worse than 3 or 4? It's all artistic nonetheless, so it shouldn't matter too much anyways.

All of these are sweet. I can't imagine just sketching something every 5 minutes. I'm too much of a perfectionist in that sort of sense. :/ I like to spend more time on my things.

But golly, not 20 hours! haha
