Meta Knight, in my opinion, is the definition of annoying. He gets in your face constantly. But then you can just smack him away like a fly so that part is funny.

Think of somewhere you were a minute or two ago that involves quotes and Metaknight.

(I quoted you and made fun of you spelling "fury" wrong)

I didn't read the quote. >_>
It was mine, so why would I?
Anyway...

Oh, yes. Smacking him brings so much satisfaction after he just spams you.
Especially when you knock him out at an incredible launch speed or send him out as see him fail miserably at getting back to stage.
Ultra fun if you do it with Ike.
He is attacking the other two people, you run in with Ike, and BAM!
Knockout with a running A.

Lucario's Side-B has a really long range, but unless he is right next to you when he uses it, it will barely hurt anyway. (When next to the target, he grabs them and smacks them instead of sneezing on them.)

On the other hand, since it has such a long range, Lucario can use it to protect himself rather than to deal damage, and it also goes through walls.

For that matter, a lot of Lucario's attacks have a pretty long range.

He needs to be killed quickly before his damage racks up and he starts owning everybody with even his weenie tilt kicks.

The good news is, he's pretty slow slow -- his best dashing attack is to do a short hop and a neutral air, since his recovery time from that is pretty much the moment he lands regardless of where in the spin he is. Every other attack leaves him vulnerable for long enough for Marth or somebody to smack him (and look FABULOUS doing so).

And of course, his infamous down aerial is very very strong. It also stops his momentum entirely -- if you or the stage are in Light mode (Icicle Mountain and Pokémon Stadium 2), he can do it an awful lot in one jump, and then everybody right under him is screwed unless they time their attack right and / or have a good range. It's pretty fun to combine it with fast falls.

Ever notice how its tricky to attach Snake's detonation pack to someone, unless you can somehow go COMPLETELY unnoticed?

Bah Lucario is good but I hate fighting against him. He gives me a headache.

One time a computer Snake laid down a mine at the start of the match, sucked total ass for fifteen minutes ... and THEN detonated it and blew me away and I had to Continue.

It was hilarious.

Snake: (150% damage) heheh ... right where i want him ... NOW!!
Lucario: BUUTT I'VEEE GOT THE AUURAAA *****HH ... *ding!*

It's hilarious putting it on somebody's ****ing face.

If you are on Wi-Fi and are good at putting the detonation pack on someone, stick it on someone who seems to be taking a pounding.
When they get sent flying high, (or most any other way) detonate it.
You would have been the last person to damage them, so you get the points.

I love it when somebody playing as Lucario or the CPU (lv9) uses the Aura Sphere and leaves themselves open. "Pulls out reflector" boom back in your face. laugh3.gif Hardly ever happens though. mad.gif

Same thing with R.O.B. and his laser beam.

I've found his Side+B doesnt do much to SSE bosses, so I don't use it on them.

But it does have a modest range.

I do use it in person matches.

I've even started using the counter, growing in effectiveness, I'm really starting to get the hang of it, and I think it might be a good factor in me winning battles.

Of course, my favorite trait is his high-risk damage boost when he gets hurt. I take advantage of that as much as I can.

I always keep an aura sphere charged but I never ****ing throw projectiles at fox or Falco. I do at Wolf because for whatever reason they never use their damned reflector.

The exception is if Fox / Falco is clearly not able to use the Reflector, ie. they just used their fire dash and they can't do anything. Otherwise, I never in my life use any projectile / item on them since obviously they'll just bounce it back

As for Aura Sphere, I know when to use it and when not to. Obviously if I'm against Fox or Falco or Wolf I'll try not to use it at a distance where they have time to see it coming. I like to use it close up and at a distance, whatever works at the time.

I use mine all the time and can score funny KOs.

The problem with Double-Team or whatever it is, is that sometimes he'll ... fly off a ledge. And then you have to recover, and then you're wide open during that whole thing, at least in comparison to at any other time

It's also difficult to time right, it takes so long to get to the (very brief) counter period that you really do have to predict with it -- you will definately not be responding to any player attacks after they've been executed

Yeah, I always wondered why the otherwise cheating CPU ... doesn't use Pit's cheapest B move. Not only does it reflect projectiles, it also protects him from any frontal attacks just as much as his regular shield would -- although he's still vulnerable from behind

I love abusing Falco's reflector, but I rarely play as him so I haven't gotten used to actual cheapness with it

I read that once. But if that happens, I would instinctively use Up+B and get back.
It's never happened to me though.
Wolf's Forward+B I'm MUCH more prone to accidental death.

I know of the period where Counter wont work after the 0.9 seconds and I'm open for half a second, though I was battling Rage recently I used counter well. I'll definately be practicing that move and using it appropriately.

That's the bad part about me. I practically abuse the reflector too.
