I hate that move with a passion, but for one, don't go above him, and two, don't spend more than an instant right next to him

I did a bit more than shoot stuff at you =P. But I can play you later without using it if you want me to...

Play a char that's more versatile against projectiles if that's gonna frustrate you though =x.

this is true. Ike can avoid being KO'd by marth's Critical Strike with his Aether.

Yes, you roll backwards before he does a move and wait for him to finish since they take so long. You have a bit of time after those smash moves on the ground to attack back after they finish. His B moves all render him useless until he lands again, so you can just dodge them and hit him when they finish or just as he lands.

Personally, I do dislike the newer characters for those long annoying moves, but at least they don't do much damage.

Seriously? I didn't know that. My friend starts using Marth after I start winning a lot with Ike.

And Ike is versatile against projectiles; Its called jumping and dodging.
But I used Pit even. You just keep using neutral B before I could even shoot you with an arrow.

Learn to shield reflect.

This would be the first thing me and Ryoga agree on.
And 15 min to train and be infallibal(sp?).

Thats no where near long enough.
Ike, like most others, takes a good amount of practise.

Ike isn't cheap. Sure, his attacks are like UUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAGH but still he's really really slow and can only hit people nearby so it evens out.

Not to mention his jumps suck.

and oh god his counter attacks.

Thank you for getting that point the we have been trying to get across to this guy across to him.

But I must say, don't underestimate Ike. He can still be deadly. Especially if we can catch you by surprise.

Any character can be deadly.

But just using rushing tactics or mind games can make you rather predictable.

Your the only one trying to convince this to me -.-
One last question, if I were to use all of Link's moves and use grabbing as a main technique (not spamming it but certainly using it) would you consider me cheap?
Because I just remembered that my bud ev got all pissy whenever I grabbed and I forgot that I was fighting him without doing so and it affected my performance which REALLY made me hate Ike with a passion. -'.- how I wish I mentioned this earlier.

Well I'd have to say that though some characters may seem pretty strong at times, none of them are truly "cheap". They're all evened out. One of the many reasons I love Smash Bros. <3
