Oh, about Meta Knight? Although he has lots of rapid-hit attacks, he and his sword are very short. Almost any other attack in the game has a longer reach and will stop his reckless cycloning if you hit him with it.

As for his standard B move, I just dodge it. :[

But still... You are freaking fighting someone, and then from about he does the plain B furry attack, or comes in from the side using the freaking twister.
He just kills the mood.
He will come crashing through your window one night when you are... Uh... "Making life" with a huge freaking orange tornado. Insta-mood kill.

Ike does seem a bit cheap because as long as you can actually hit with him -- which may be hard because you can see 90% of his attacks a mile away -- he will PROBABLY KO somebody. Ike's knockback is ****ing amazing.

However, Ike is ridiculously slow. His only reliable surprise attack is his Side-B, and possibly his up tilt. Even if he puts the minimal time into a smash attack, you can probably dodge it after you hear the smash click, but before it would actually hit you.

Ike's aerials are a bit faster than his ground attacks, so don't let him jump around all the time, and roll away if he does his fire fart.

Damn those furries!

Yeah, if he gets you by surprise he can rack up a lot of damage, but if you see him heading your way you just need to whack him back with the tip of your weapon. Metaknight gets owned by beam swords

Also Delmore brought up a good point: Sonic needs distance for most of his attacks (ie. his entire B tree), and the ones that are close up have very brief attack periods, meaning if you dodge his attack you won't have to worry about becoming vulnerable again in the same attack or something like you would with ******* Metaknight.

His homing attack is easily dodged, since if he's close enough for it to hit, you can run under him -- the homing attack doesn't go behind him. You can also just hit him before he launches.

You can also grab Sonic out of a spindash if you time it just right.

Knockback is my favourite part. Although, I still can't stand fighting Olimar with Ike.
But still. With the power comes the speed. So he is kinda balance.

And about his forward B.
Useful in sudden death.
Especially if the other person starts on a platform across and above.

You charge to max and they don't move.
Launch forward when they don't expect it, and hit the C stick up.
He can pull out a forward and up smash pretty quickly after doing a forward B.



Meta Knight is a furry?
But he is a Kirby thing... And Kirby looks like flesh...



Even though I HATE Sonic, I am decent with him... Decent meaning ultra cheap.
