Has anybody tried the smash taunts yet?

I've tried Snake's while facing every character. Some of them are pretty funny (like Luigi, Kirby, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, Samus). Fox's and Falco's are pretty neat also, but not quite as entertaining or funny.

It's pretty fun to do, but amazingly hard to execute when the computer keeps attacking you, especially since you can only do it once per battle.

So, has anyone else done this? If so, what did you find funniest.

Protip: The Smash Taunts are only to be used for fun so doing it in the midst of a serious battle is dumb. Also you use the 2nd player to do them, not set up a CPU becase no matter the level they will always interupt your taunt.

But yeah, I've done them and they`re pretty neat. Still haven't done it with everyone yet. The one where if you get KOed while communicating with Snake and the "Snake? Snake? SNAKE!" comes out is one of my favorites.

You can do smash taunts on training.

That's what I did after I kept getting interrupted.

Also, I love how Snake refers to Jigglypuff and Kirby both as "the pink marshmallow."

Yeah, they each have different "SNAAAAKE!" cries. It's pretty funny if you time it well.

I go on Wifi and try to do it... I go to a corner and if there is all four people, I am normally ignored...
Unlike Fox's in Melee, you can get attacked after it starts without it stopping the transmission.

I like what he says about Sonic; Mainly because I agree.

That's actually a joke on how certain hedgehog types eat snakes.

I don't care.
I have nothing against Sonic.
I have played one of his games or so.
Its decent.
But all those little fanboys had to throw fits until they got what they wanted.
Now we have a character who has all his attacks do basically the same thing.

Yes, in fact, every time my little brother and I play on Shadow Moses Island or the Starfox stage, it is mandatory to Smash taunt before any fighting happens. The dialouge is that awesome.

And I thought Sonic's dialouge was a refrence to his long bad relationship with the Military in his continuity. (GUN)

No Snake hates Sonic because of his recent suckage.

Is there a special Codec convo if Snake is fighting himself? I haven't tried that.

How do you start it? Isnt it his down taunt?

Yeah, but because now there IS a down taunt, instead of just the sides, it has to be done specially.

I only know how to do it with a GC controller, but here is how:
Scratch.
Don't actually hit the down key.
Just kinda scratch it.
Make it flick.
But don't make him do his taunt.
