What do you guys think about Brawl's more original bosses?

I think Duon looks really freaking awesome.

Galleom is my favorite. I just like his attacks.

Tabuu = Cheapest mother****er ever

SNK Boss Syndrome, anyone?

except all his attacks are really easy to dodge

Except for that wings of doom ****, even on normal mode, which is like 120% damage on one hit.

I thought I was the only one getting KO'd by that crap on normal...

When he does the laser with that black dog head thing, I am really lucky if I have Pit as my character, because it will deal some good damage.

Liar.

He has the triple shockwave attack, which has a 0.10 second long period in which you can dodge each wave, and they're 0.15 seconds apart. If you get hit by one, you are likely to die. I'm sorry, but if you can flawlessly dodge that move every time he does it (including the first time he hit you with it ever) you are pathetically obsessed with this game -- it can't possibly be healthy to have played this game so goddamned much that you can actually do that reliably

or if you have anybody who can jump, that particular attack is almost impossible to get hit by unless you're using some slowass character like dedede and JUST used their most opening attack

... But with Pit I am not avoiding it.
I use my mirror shield.
Reflect it.

Pit's goes away after some time.
I think the Fox crew have theres shatter after a certain amount of damage has been dealt.

Or you just suck.

I was able to do that triple dodge every time since my second try.

You have about one second between each wave- not a tenth...

Hold the shield button and press down to sidestep each shockwave. It took me a while to figure that out. The timing isn't really hard at all.

Yea, it's actually not too hard to time. It's still a devastating attack, but the only reason I ever get hit by it now is just if I get too nervous.

After clearing boss mode on intense my brain is fried so here's my opinions:

Petey is completely dodgeable since he literally has only two attacks with two variations each, so <3

Master Hand and Crazy Hands attack are pretty easy to dodge too, but you can get some unlucky combos by them if you're...unlucky.

Meta and regular Ridley can be dodged pretty well, but they have a lot more attacks, and so it's easy to screw up and get hit or die from them.

Rayquaza is probably my most hated boss...he takes longer to kill than the others, and it's hard to pull of an attack and not get hit without wasting even more time.

Porky/Pokey has so many large attacks you're bound to get somewhat hit by them, it's better to kill him fast and dodge any fatal blows.

Duom has a bunch of large attacks too, and so it's also hard to reach him and not get hit. Luckily though, his missile attack can be used to make him commit suicide fairly fast so that's a plus.

Galleom actually doesn't deal that much damage if you're careful, but I'm so awful at preparing for his attacks that I'll usually get hit by them. My advice is that you heal up if you're hurt before him, because he has so many powerful knockout blows ;(

And back to Tabuu: His attacks fortunately aren't too hard to dodge, and he gives fair warning of when they're coming mostly. Still, try and keep a heart for him incase you get surprise attacked by his gold gates thing so you don't instadie. Also, be careful not to get caught by his teleport.

Holy ****, you too? And you Dark Yoshi? Now everyone's doing it... I've only beaten it on Normal and THAT was hard... I can't be that weak.
Now if I beat this on intense as well, I'm not going to impress anybody like I wanted to all along. ._.

Though is that move really the secret? I ask because I want to win this in some way that wasn't taken from another's idea, then it won't feel as original and I wont feel like I did it on my own.

no, i don't -- the attack is cheap and the timing is nearly impossible

you're right i sure didn't try that sp >:/

too bad it doesn't work unless you dodge at the precise millisecond the wave hits

too bad you can't tell when the wave is considered to hit

lucario's not very good at boss mode

pit's okay because he can block almost anything in the game indefinitely (as long as he's not hit from behind) and wait for an opening

sonic and marth are amazing

My three best characters are Kirby, Lucario, and Pikachu, I'm good with Pit too.
Though it feels like I can only be really good at 3 or 4 characters at a time.

I'm going to try it with those four.

Also I've noticed how Lucario's damage power ability seriously takes a nice chunk out of the bosses, especially when using a full Aura Sphere. All I need to do is predict everyone's movements and judge when to dodge, then when to use distance attacks and when to use close-range attacks. And if I'm really attune, then I'll use Lucario's counter. I'm confident I'll be able to do it with practice.

Though I stilll haven't been able to avoid all three of those Tabuu shockwaves.

Dude... On normal is easy. Everyone is easy to kill... I tried it on intense with Ike.
I killed Ridley, Crazy Hand, the two robots, and Petey in under five minutes.
Meta Ridley killed me, though.
