Did you go to an video game store called "Super Potato"? It has a lot of rare videogames and goodies that you'll never find at your local gamestop.

yeah as far as I saw they did. but the only game stores I saw in Tokyo were just small stores on the side of the street. we went into a larger one later in a mall but it was just like what you'd find in the US, although it had many more games and obviously japan exclusive titles

The EB near here did too, but the stupid employees (all of them, and the owner apparently) got arrested for stealing some of the games from houses at night..It had to close down. Now I have to go to a store 2 hours away to add old games to my collection.
Anyways, Thats a lot of stuff! But...I wouldn't find the other stuff "entertaining"..

People who claim themselves to be otaku go there and communicate with each other with their shared interests.
