These are just the F-Zero AX characters. You can unlock then in GX.

edit: looked it up, apparently its some really obscure arcade version of f-zero

(And it's not like the "A" in AX corresponds to "Arcade" while the "G" is Gamecube!) if you don't play AX, you can unlock all of its content in GX, including its tracks, except it's considerably more difficult.

He like, never talked about F-Zero before but he brought over his memory card one time and was snaking all over the place. He managed to unlock everything, including those darn AX racers ;_;;
