Seriously, I've been checking the wifi "Play Anyone" thing about 3 or 4 times every day and EVERY time, the timer gets to 0, and nobody joins, I thought alot of people bought this game! I mean, its easier for me to play a game of Battallion Wars or Medal of Honor online than Brawl!

This happen to anyone else?

It's happens to me sometimes and it makes me angry. So then I pick a character I hate and kill them in an offline match. laugh3.gif

Ironically, the reason random matches are so hard to come by is, there are a hell of a lot of people online. Nintendo's servers are gridlocked.

So if I can't play anyone because their servers are packed, wouldnt I be able to get one eventually if I stayed in the Sandbag room for awhile?

It isn't Nintendo's Servers. It could be your router settings.

I changed my router channel, and some other settings, which allowed me to reach more users. Now it only takes maybe 1-2 minutes to find 4 players, and it doesn't lag.

If it lags, it's either the distance, your connection, THEIR connection, or your/their bandwidth. If you are using up your bandwidth(such as downloading a bunch of stuff while playing online), it may slow it down.

I have played maybe 30 anonymous wi-fi matches now. I don't play basic 4 player brawl though anymore. Too many folks just standing there and being cheap. All about that Team Battle Ftw.

I'll try that, would having a Wifi USB cable change anything with router settings and whatnot or can I just do it the way you normally would?

I'm not sure if it would work better. but a wireless router should be good enough

I am quite certain that it is not router settings, because I experience these issues despite the fact that I use the WiFi USB Connector.

I use one too, mayhaps Nintendo just isn't ready for it's biggest online game yet?

And also, does Brawl host online matches on a person's wii? Or on their servers? Because it seems like if they do it on their own servers then theres nothing we can do cept wait for them to get more powerful/more servers...

The fact that its lucky to get 2 matches in back to back is pretty sad...

I don't see how you are having problems. The match continues until someone drops out, so the connection should stay the same.

even if you use wifi usb connector, I'm sure you have to adjust some settings for better connectivity.

Maybe using the connecter thing helps the problem, because I'm able to fight people all the time.
Of course, I had to change my wireless router's channel to 11, but if you're using the connecter, it probably doesn't matter.

The problem has be something with your connection.
