True, but if you check the amount of downloads on Nintendo Kart and my sprites and tilesets, then that will give you some reason to believe otherwise. (i,e. My custom NSMB tileset has over 1000+ downloads, and Nintendo Kart's reaching that point as well.)

As of right now, no intentions to cancel this and production is better than ever!


Story Mode

Story mode will be revealed slowly each update, whether by posts here or actual gameplay in the game.
To give you the basic idea of the gameplay of story mode, think Subspace Emissary.
Anyways, the basic outline of the story so far is that after the death of the PPP all the negative enery was lost and destroyed and is now somewhere in MFGG. Later, a certain member named Cutman, while he was admin during the great war between him, let loose this power which instantly possesed Cutman, allowing him to be banned. This power was built up inside Cutman and soon, the power was a so astounding it was able to posess pro hackers to hack into MFGG's database and destroy many members. The members destroyed go into a blank space, a land of nothing that slowly grows until it turns into a living hell. The members trapped in the blank space follow one story while the members not deleted follow another. By beating a level, one member is allowed to leave the blank space and comes into MFGG to help stop the madness. Although, only one member can stop this. But who?

Multiplayer Mode

Although I am still thinking about versus, I have also had idea's for other multiplayer things.

Co-op - Two players play in the Story Mode.

Home Run Contest - Yes, one or two players may beat up a dummy and when the time runs out, hit it as far as you can.

Survival - There is no hope for survival in this game, but fend off the endless amount of foes for as long as you can. 1-2 players.

Target Test - Break all the targets as fast as you can! Single player or play with a friend.

Unlockables
There will be many unlockables, levels, characters and features, though I will not tell you them yet.

Character Roster

Although we only have 3 characters right now, my goal is at least 10 characters, 25 max. I want somewhere around 15 or 20 to be in, trying to make them each unique and not complete clones of course. Who are the future characters? Nobody knows, but they will be well known and or amazing members that would fit perfectly.

Ah, sorry for the triple post, I need to space out these things- or you need to start commenting more!
Anyways, here is Demo Version 0.3.
It contains a small portion or Level 1 of chapter 1 in story mode.
It also contains the first three smilie enemies.

Like said before, SVH and Sleepy just move and jump and don't attack, and the Angry smilie cant be destroyed - it pushes out it's hand and pushes you away.

Anyways, enjoy and remember to use full screen if pressing Alt messes up your computer-

Anyways, so far level one has
Spoilers:
A very small cutscene with Thunder Dragon, which really isn't a cutscene since no talking and is short.
The "Wrestling E-Fed" Arena filled with training Dummies.
"Present Time MFGG" which in the game is what happens when hackers **** with MFGG.


And Level 1 is going to have -
Spoilers:
At the end, you meet up with Thunder Dragon who tells you only a small portion of what happened before being deleted and warped to the blank space.
Perhaps a small boss battle.
Maybe another reference of past MFGG things.

Oh, I thought that this was MFGG in general. I mean, the title kinda says it. I mainly known on the main site, but I may post some of my sprites here when I have the time.

You could make some sort of floating plataform between some of the chasms, I can't get that far with Jello. The rest is cool so far =)

i haven't folowed this much so so i don't know every thing.
but i think i'l try out the Demo now user posted image

RII's idle is messed Up.
and WTF is up with DJ's Jump sprites rolleyes.gif (atleast you got his walking right)

Well I remember you, without you this project wouldn't be here since there's not alot of sprites of MFGG members in the same style.
And i'll see what I can do about the animation, I guess I don't mind that much since, well, programmer and all.

As for Flamedragon, don't bother.

And as for the chasms, yeah, I noticed that problem with Jello to. I'll either do that or give him a larger jump.

What i'm aiming for here is a challenge that you can have fun with, not to hard but not to easy.
Of course there will be difficulty settings, but i'm talking about the A.I in the game.
Not the A.I for normal enemies, but the A.I for minibosses and bosses.
I'm aiming for them to be smart - know your position, know when to attack, know when to run.
The first mini-boss i'm working on is getting smart, knowing what to do and it's fun and challenging to try to beat him- that's what i'm aiming for.

I never really played Metal Slug that much, but I understand what you mean.
It's not like after the first boss it gets easier until you get close to the next boss, it's like hard from the start to the end.

Except I was thinking more like a classic Smash-Bros series fight, like your fighting another person. Only for the minibosses though. For the bosses they'll be more like MGS and Contra and the likes.
Also, I though of having a reacurring (Sp?) boss, like in Paper Mario.
You know the Egg guy from paper Mario that each time you battled him he got more powerful? Thats what this robot will be like.
You fight him usually in the middle of the stage, and each time he gets smarter and more powerful.
