I still do not understand why, everyone hates GameCube

It has great games, the graphics are decent, the control is decent, it doesn't take too much room.

Great console IMO.

I didn't like the buttons :\

it's library is lacking compared to other systems.

that said, the only thing I really dislike is the tiny ass d-pad.

I like it alot.

Although alot of the games are not that great.

Also, awesome controller.

It's got Kirby's Air Ride, Def Jam, and Gotcha Force

It's purple and the majority of its games have that unique Game Cube dipped-in-plastic look to them. I did like the controller and some of its games, however.

According to Wikipedia, ~700 games were released on the GameCube

Also, the d-pad isn't used in many games anyway.

Gamecube was awesome. I'd list all the awesome games, but I've already done so many other times.

Wasn't GameCube released in a variety of colors?

Yeah, this is a pretty stupid reason to dislike an entire console.

That's like saying the SNES is the worst system ever in the USA because it had purple on it.

It's true, a lot are garbage games. A large library doesn't make a good system, but a large library of good games.

I stand by that it has a great titles on it, although I'm sure many of my favorites are available on other systems or even on the computer (Mostly Dreamcast or PS2).

It's a fact that titles that were already popular saw a bit of a setback in quality of gameplay (i.e. Sunshine but I still loved the game just not as much as Mario 64). However the gamecube had introduced some great game series to the market like Mario Strikers, Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, etc. However, I'd also like to point out that Gamecube was host of the best racing game I've ever played, Mario Kart: Double Dash.

I HATED Crystal Chronicles though. It really seemed like just a big waste o money, because it was just kinda boring and repetitive.

But Four Swords and the GBA/GCN PacMan gamething made it all good

gamecube had like 10 good games

Gamecube was the first console of its generation that I got to play, so I was completely awed by it when I got one (seeing SSBM's intro video in the store is what finally sold me when I was deciding between a GC and a PS2). Became kind of average to me after I got a PS2, but I'll never forget how much the GC amazed me during the first couple years I had it.

It depends on what game do you like

Dunno who here likes Star Wars, but the Rogue Squadron series on Gamecube was just awesome, especially the sequel which had co-op missions
