King Oneye, Emporor of Fire Kingdom

The megalomanic cyclops, King Oneye. Ruler of the once beautiful now war torn land Fire Kingdom.
Yes, he shoots flames out of his sole eye.

Although his legs look immobile and the lineart is a bit rough, overall it's a very eye pleasing design. It's hits just the right balance of unique, distinctive, and memorable. The color choice is very good, but the coloring it self looks somewhat amateurish and sloppy. This leads me to believe that you either don't color much, or the coloring was an afterthought. You did a good job capturing it's character, you can really imagine him moving around and behaving lifelike. My personal favorite part is the "crown of horns" at the top of his head.

tl;dr - I like the drawing, great design, great color choice, love the crown of horns. However, the lineart seems somewhat sloppy and the coloring looks rushed.

AWESOME work, Nicktendo. But I think the body's color is too bright.

That is what you get if you lack the shade of blue you need.

And yes, I rarely have the patience to color something.

That's what I thought. It's the only weak area really.

I like the design of this one, lots of character!

I have a feeling I've seen this before... have you drawn him before? Or was that just a sketch?

The bight blues and yellows remind me so much of the Zelda II art.



It has a nice design, and I'm liking the anatomy. Coloring job is iffy, but it's easy to look past.
