I'm having trouble, after I beat Moore, it returns to the game, but you can't move or talk.

Loving the battle engine so far. Only complaint I have with it is the way you turn the blocks. Right makes it go counterclockwise and left makes it go clockwise. It's not that bad but it throws me off sometimes.

And something you could add maybe, you know how in Paper Mario when you're in front of something like a tree or bush and you go into battle sometimes, the bush or tree is part of the stage? You could do that possibly.

Also, it needs variable jump height. I had quite a bit of trouble trying to get into a little passageway because Kirby kept jumping too high.

Only other complaint is the tiles in the ground and such, if you could possibly edit them a little bit so there aren't gaps then it would be perfect.

Overall it has a few bugs, but it is coming along nicely. Great job.

If you're looking to be confused, make word filters changing all vowels to a certain letter (I suggest to a vowel), all for read-only, and loose. For example, with all vowels turned to "i"...

This game is so ****ing good. I wish I could make an RPG like this. It's just so slick and the battles run well.

But the crowd needs to jump when you hit an enemy and there needs to be a level up system. Other than that, good.

Man, this game is very good. I'd say one of the best i've played. I do have some suggestions though....

-The Shy-Guy/Meta Knight Knight dude from I think comic 6 should become a mini-boss.

-The Ghost House with Abby should keep the Google and Yahoo! things.

-General Guy MUST HAVE PIK-GUYS.

-A boss for General Guy would be the Annoying dog, Ep-enut, and The Monkeys carrying the Melon-cameras.

-BG should have an attack where a goonie falls on him, and it does nothing to you.

Anyone who complains about crap like level up and beating Moore causing no movement? Please STFU.

Sorry if I'm sounding like a jerk but it's sorta true. This is a DEMO. You need to base your critisism on what is presented in front of you. not what you want to see.
It's obvious a level up system will be featured.....it's obvious that after beating Moore, something is suppose to happen. Let me tell you some things:

1. The Gap thing is dependant on full screen, and your computer. If it's there, deal with it. I don't have this problem, so I guess I shouldn't have say in this, but I've had it before.
2. Moore causes no movement because of a variable. It's under some different name I bet but for now, I'll call it allowmove.

When you are allowed to move, it has a value called allowmove=true.
If you cannot move, then it will be allowmove=false.
When you talk to Moore, it becomes false. After the battle, it is still false because nothing was programmed that point other than the conversation (if there was any. I didn't see myself yet).

3. Suggestions should be based on what should be improved. Not what you want to see. This is based off the ****ing sprite comic for ****'s sake! It's like a book. Turn it into a movie, and there's a 95% chance it won 't be the same. Same goes for books to video games/ movies to video games. You're bound to find something that you didn't see in the book/movie. Think about what is presented in front of you. Not what you wish to see in the future.

And that's basically it. Once again, sorry for sounding like a jerk but it's true.

EDIT: Now, back on topic, here's some mor feedback.

- Whenever you use items in battle, an ugly black box appears above the options.
- Make Kirby less slippery. He's somewhat hard to control.
- I find it very hard to land on the spring board, and hit up perfectly. It takes 10 tries just to do it.
- As with lowering Shy Guy HP, lower the Para Guy's HP too. Moore is fine as he is.

EDIT 2: Back button where? If in battle, I'd agree. I had to kill Moore only using Kirby because I accidentally pressed the eat button. Allow a back button next time.

Okay, first of all, do you people bother to press F1? Backspace is the back button if you mess up a command.

Secondly, Moore isn't the end of the demo. There are actually two levels, plus a town to hang around in. The Moore thing is a TERRIBLE glitch I wasn't aware of at the time (I usually skip to the next level), and I fixed it for the update. There is about twice as much to do in the demo. I was trying to get an update by Friday, but I had a friend over, so, I'll try to get done by Sunday.

I lowered the HP of all enemies except for bosses, and reduced the number of enemies in the first level.

The crowd does jump when you hit an enemy, and there will be a level up system.
Also, a jump height variable will be added. It's usually one of the first things I add, but I forgot it in this game for some reason.

This is pretty awesome. The only complaints I have are the number of enemies in the level, which are annoying especially when they're behind bushes, and some of the graphics and music quality, but I'm sure they'll be better later wink.gif

This seems pretty decent. The only problem I noticed was that when you run away, you are sent straight back into battle because the shy guys are still touching you.

Cool. But the intro where the shuyguys attack, I don't think they should just walk straight. I think they should randomly jump around.

Graphics: Some clash, but the same in the comic. 9/10
Sound: Good choice of music and effect 10/10
Gameplay: When you run away, it takes more than 6 tries to actually get away. Plus when you hit a block in battle, your character jumps back down really quick. But overall good 7/10

Oh boy, another glitch that effects the game.
After fleeing from a battle with a shy-guy, it put me back in the battle.
Also, when you enter the haunted forest, it says level complete in big letters and it says press enter?
