Eyes don't show through hair either. If you're going to draw eyes through the hair, you mind as well draw them through hats and concrete too.

I personally just ... move the hair around so that it's not covering their eyes.

Because the seeing the eyes through the hair, I assume, is meant to signify that the hair isn't as solid as it looks. Like you can see the eyes through them even though the artist hasn't went through the toil of drawing all the loose strands of hair.

The reason you draw the eyes through the hair is *solely* so that you can still see a character's full expression at all times.

Hair will block the eyes if it's in front of it. Hair doesn't get semi-transparent and minimal spaces in the hair do very little to reveal the eyes underneath, so trying to make the hair "less solid" by showing eyes under it would be in vain.

When I was 16, TMS! was funny.

Now that I look back, the earlier strips were funnier since they focused on game humor. After that, it was "lol sonix ghey and pinchs nukles as" in just about every other panel.
