Some people sketch it on hand, scan it, then use an image editor program.

Mine was handdrawn as well, but I used Open Canvas to edit it.
It most depends on your preference.

Also, it just looks more like Peach is sticking her foot out. The X-Naut needs to do something that indicates he was kicked out. He just looks like he's sitting on the ground. You can barely see the stars that are meant to indicate where his butt landed.......

I'm probably going to go through like, 20 pictures before the final, and there's not much I can do about the picture now that I colored it. The coloring's bad for 2 reasons: Bad colored pencils REALLY crappy scanner. I had to vry my coloring to try to get the scanner to pick it up. So this one sucks.
