Baby Bros. in Super Mario Kart. (DUPLICATE), Submission attept 2=GO

I don't get it. I put effort in it (it was originally a Yoshi) and it gets canned because it doesn't look like them.
What do you think? After this, I refuse to do anything related to babies.

I think it may be that their lower half is the size of their adult selves. Possibly if you move them up in the seat and make their bottoms proportional with their bodies it will look better.

Also do you have any plans for ROB?

I agree with Elyk, they do look like that, when/if you adjust that, could you possibly make a misc. Mario characters sheet that included things like Pokeys, Lakitus, maybe even ROB? I know, it's not likely to happen, but I think it would be great :D.

Their noses need to look, or appear bigger as well. Their heads are big and that makes the nose look small.

The big bottom problem is apparent in the side poses, but as the kart turns towards the back or front, the problem appears to hide.

How is this? I added a pillow, because his back won't reach the back of the seat because of his size.

Maybe you could give him smaller kart because he is a baby.

I'd say altogether redo them so the babies are standing up in their carts :o

plus they should have bigger heads and less white in their eyes.

I say I can understand why they were rejected. They just don't look like the Baby Bros.
And agree with everyone's suggestions. Do a smaller kart, but then again the pillow idea isn't bad. Also the hat should stay the same size as the adult Mario Bros.' hats, so they should look way bigger on the baby heads.

Personally I think they would look better with a smaller kart than a pillow but whatever.

Looks much better.

I'm not in the mood (and will never be) to resize the kart.
I say it's finished. I don't want to work on it anymore.

Replying to the request for R.O.B., I'll do it whenever I feel like it, just like all the other edits I made. I can only work out of free will (think of assignments for art class).

ROB isn't a Mario character. I doubt he'd be accepted unless he was on a sheet with something else (then maybe).

And if anyone says "But he was in MKDS!", then consider whether Pac-Man on a kart would be accepted on the main site because he was in the Mario Kart GP Arcade or whatever it's called. Probably not.

If he made a ROB sheet and it was specificly made to look like MKDS, it should be acceptable. Anything else, not so much.

The character still isn't a Mario character, though.

And the Pac-Man argument kind of still applies to that.

Plus mere style probably isn't a factor that makes something more acceptable with regard to subject matter.


But again, if someone made multiple MKDS characters in karts for a given sheet, and added ROB to it to make it more complete (considering it's based on MKDS), then I can't imagine that it wouldn't be accepted, mainly because it would also have Mario characters on it.

Why do we have Giana Sisters then?
