Throw it, because the Brawl's Beam Sword got longer but weaker, and you can't KO characters not even if they're in 100%. Actually, you can't even KO them in 100% if you actually throw the Beam Sword. The problem is that if you try to hit, they won't fly far and will hit you directly.
