Did Brawl drive you into buying a game?

We all know that Super Smash Bros. Brawl is crammed to the brim with Nintendo memorabilia. But did anything in this game influenced you into buying one of the games they featured? Be it characters, stages, music, items, stickers, or trophies, there are quite a lot. Say you've never played Pikmin before, yet Olimar's presence made you buy one of his games. Likewise, the constant Donkey Kong Barrel Blast references (like the DK Jungle 1 Theme music or the trophies mentioning the game) could inspire you to see what they are about. Heck, Melee interested the overseas audience with Fire Emblem material, and here we are today.

So did you get any games because of Brawl?

Well I might think of getting pikmin if they still have it =P

Brawl hasn't made me buy anything new...yet!

I bought Orcarnia of time off the VC cuz of it.

I heard there is a Fire Emblem game on the Wii... I might get it. I have played Fire Emblem before and was young... So I freaked out when people died and didn't come back.

And my friend says I should play Pikmin...

I have all the ones which are good already...so..no. No new ones for me...yet.

get the 2nd one first.

it's alot better than the first one IMO espeically because the first one had a 30 day limit and isn't nearly as good as the 2nd one

It inspired a friend to buy a Fire Emblem game, but I haven't been persuaded.

Money isn't flying out of my ass yet, so my answer is "No".

Yah, it drove me nuts so I traded it in and bought Halo 3.

They had it at my local Gamestop one of the last times I went there, so maybe you should look at a Gamestop.

I think I saw it for $17 or something. No clue now why I didn't get it, because it actually looks pretty neat.

SSB made me play Earthbound.

Nothing for Brawl yet.

When I learned about Pit's appearance, I was eventually driven into downloading Kid Icarus onto my VC, but that's about it.

I'm trying to get my friend to let me borrow Pikmin.

I just got to know Samus was actually a girl and C. Falcon was a racer and not a superhero in Bros. 64.

I downloaded Earthbound, Game & Watch Gallery, Ice Climbers, Baloon Fighter, Mach Rider, Dr. Mario and Fire Emblem ROMs after I played Melee.

I downloaded Kid Icarus and Mother 3 ROMs, plus a Metal Gear Solid Demo, and i buyed Twilight Princess (and almost buyed Mario Sunshine because of Delfino Plaza) when i got to know they were going to be in Brawl. I would rent Pikmin and Fire Emblem Wii/Cube if I knew where. I also downloaded Magical Starsign, Sim City SNES, Sin & Punishment, Punch Out!!, Devil World and Custom Robo because of ATs/Stickers/Trophies.



The only thing I'll really buy because of Brawl is the next Kid Icarus sequel that will hopefully be on the Wii or DS. I really think that Pit/Skyworld design/New concept shouldn't be wasted.

Melee urged me to buy Mach Rider.

The music-- so catchy~

I started playing a lot of my older games again because of it.

Also, there's a small nagging voice telling me to get the MGS collection, but I assume that's because of subliminal messaging.
