Well, I just did the most death..., ...defying thing in my life.

So I'm working tech in our school's upcoming play, and we needed to build a circular platform. So we get it square and cut a circle in the plywood on top. Then the tech director tells us to stand the platform up. This thing weighs a good 500 pounds. So once we get it up, and there's only like, 8 of us, the tech director tells us to hold it while he cuts the unstable 2x4s. Everyone thinks he's nuts, and we decide to put it back down. Here's the scary part: it's hard to put down that heavy of a platform. So we start to move back. BUT the platform starts to weigh dowm on us, and my arms start shaking under the weight. I'm thinking "We're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead, we're dead." We make it out just before everyone colapsed. Good God that was scary...

Glad you're alive. I remember being in a similar situation myself while attempting to move a Piano.

Well, it made me think about what death would be like. Would it just be a flash into a black void? Is there more than that? Is there an afterlife? All those questions were going through my head. I'm glad none of them were answered.

Descriptions from "Near Death Experiences" make it out to be pretty cool but anyways glad you're alright. Relying on your strength when its the only thing keeping you from doom can be scary as hell, especially when you're running out. Kind of like hanging from a ledge with people hanging on to you or soemthing
