Electrogoombas (ACCEPTED)

I don't know what these things are called Officially.
some say it's Electrogoombas, others say it's some sort of Space Shroom, hell some say it's a godamn Shroob

I don't know the official name for it (too). They seem a bit big though, unless they were like that in SMG, in which I can't remember them well.

Wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was "Cosmic Goombas", but that's just a guess.


I would have to say that the red ones' lack of contrast makes them look a bit more like MS Paint drawings than sprites.

The official name (according to the strategy guide that my brother got), the blue ones are called electrogoombas. The red and green ones may have a different name.

They're pretty good,except what everyone else said, and the fact that the animation looks like it would go too fast.

there not that big and are almost the same size as my goombas
and they're not fast if you use the animations correctly

Goombas are normally between 16x16 - 24x24. I'm not going to check in MS Paint, but I can count the pixels and I say it's about 32 pixels tall, including the antennae. That's significatly taller than a goomba.

Even though they look like Shroobs, they can't possibly be Shroobs due to the fact that the end of Partners in Time, all traces of them were supposedly destroyed.

And the green ones are too tall and should have meaner eyes.
