You gave a month for a competition that wasn't exactly open to all users of GameMaker or MMF. That's why progress has been slow.

depends on how you choose to implement it. I understand what you mean by easy. Just inserting a couple of gravity direction 10's and 50's wont work it needs to have the game be fun not just some flip where my feet go game.

A load of characters wont make it.
Try add things like items or a boost(that would be welcome).

Updated majorly,
New Features:
+Proper title screen.
+Music select (3 tracks) Press Ctrl on Title screen to change.
+10 characters:
#0 BulletBill - Normal.
#1 RetroBill - Graphical change.
#2 ChainChomp - Bouncy, Kills everything. (Now with Chain)
#3 EvilBill - Kills everything.
#4 NukeBill - Highly explosive, Custom sprite.
#5 Mario - Graphical change, Blood instead of shards upon death.
#6 Bug - Bouncy, Blood instead of shards upon death.
#7 Boo - Transparent, Travels through walls.
#8 Pokey - Ever played snake? This time the tail can take hits for you, Blood instead of shards upon death, Pressing R will destroy the head, the next peice takes it's place, the explosion catapults you forwards however.
#9 Ninji - Swift like a NINJAR!, Blood instead of shards upon death.
+Arrow blocks changed to black for easier sight.
+Realistic-ish fire (Still using SMB graphics).
-Final level is only completable with one character.
EDIT: Anti-Lag scripts, reduceing amount of fire, blood and ash in a room. Black characters outlined in their lightest colour.
