Nah, mines this but with a bulletbill.

Also, Simoneister, you should be able to flip gravity in mid air, I die to much from trying to flip whilst jumping over spikes... And the locked door should be a checkpoint.

Well, doing that would make it too easy, or I'd have to make a whole new level design.

it wouldn't make that much of a difference actually, since you can't actually jump very far, it would make it very slightly easier in that you could flip in mid air, that's it.


Also, yes the checkpoint thing would help a lot.

Think like this.
You flip, go a little bit forward, then you flip again, go a little bit forward etc...

You can just flip your way through in mid-air.

I'm updating mine to have a character select feature, pressing a number at any time in the game will cause you to change character the next time you spawn. Each character has different abilities (except mario and retrobill which are purely for looks). I still need ideas for another 4 so tell me if you think of anything.

So far I have:

Press 0 or nothing: Bullet Bill (Normal)
Press 1: Retro Bill (Looks)
Press 2: Chain Chomp (Bounces)
Press 3: Evil Bill (Shrinkified version of the YI Bullet Bill to 16x16, kills anything it touches)
Press 4: Nuke Bill (leaves a trail of fire and scrap metal, explodes on contact with anything)
Press 5: Mario (Looks)

Glitches with this system:
Pressing a number whilst spawning will cause the spawn animation for the one you had to continue playing, but spawning the character you pressed the number for.

Will update once I have all 10 or the competition deadline is about to be reached, whichever comes first.

@Ultramio: Yours is brilliant, I think I've got the hang of it now but I got stuck on the one with the spiked ceiling and all of those coloured blocks.

@Simoneister: I think that as well as no-one has given me any Ideas for the extra characters, sadly I am going away for about 9 days so I won't be able to do anything within the time limit unless it is after then...

Anyways, as stated above, I may not be able to finish this in time so this is what I have so far (Keys 0-6 change the character):

Yeah i thought that to, but do you think were getting alot of contribution in just 6 days.
I won the last comp just because i was the only one that was doing anything, i dont want that to happen again.
And i think its better with one big extension that many small.

Its ok, this comps theme as well as the last comps theme is a bit more complicated to do than some of the older ones.
