Cyberic Ritual., My first song. lo'

Messed around with FL Studio(Version 8 demo) a bit and finally decided on a song to make and this came about.


Not great to be honest, I tried to go for a aggresive ritual electronic type style, not sure if I got it or not.


Please be honest and list anything that needs to be fixed, although I won't be able to fix this song. The next one will atleast have some improvement as I gain more advice and experince.

I don't know what style your trying to replicate, but for what it is I love it! Very techno/digital style.
But from 0:48 to about 1:00 I don't like how sometimes the note starts of quite horribly flat and then climb up.

This is actually pretty good, nice job!

I can't really hear anything particularly wrong with it, I like the way it sounded.

I was planning for them to climb up, but not to see them that as boring, dull, etc. in the beginning.

Certainly doing something about that in the next song.

I actually like how this turned out! The only thing I dislike is the ascending note from 0:57 to 1:06.

Out of the whole song, I think I enjoyed the part that starts at 0:48 the most, in contrast to what others have said.

Yep, that's precisely what it sounds like - a bunch of notes being played wherever they go with the tempo changing.

And it sounds good.

Well, if it helps, I'm not asking for the specific presets, just the VSTi's used - were they the ones that came included with the demo, or did you download/buy some VSTi's to use in it?

I'm assuming you're talking about from my own beats and such. Otherwise, not sure.
