MFGG Kart, First things first...

Well, not to be negative, but so far, this is what I see

If i were you, I would have made a simple engine before making a topic, then had the engine judged by public, THEN get requests. But then again, im not you. This doesnt look very promising, though.

K, I'm having no luck with Bolt... Looks like this is another one for you Nick.

@mamaluigi: You're pushing the fame thing a little too far.....just because a person joined MFGG in 2007, does not mean they aren't well known. As long as they post often, and submit alot, I'm pretty sure they are well known.

And really, It's Black Boo's decision on who joins or not. I think you've said a few times "I'm just giving out pointers", but it really sounds more like "don't add this character because I say he isn't famous".

I didn't quite understand your analogy...Normally, a new member's "Hi I'm new" Post will be like around 20 replies, and then it goes dead. After that, the member is on his or her own, and people won't know them much. Not much fame in that...

@Titan: Black Boo did post an engine somewhere, though that was just a Nintendo Kart Game.

It doesn't matter if they're famous, it matters if they know **** about MFGG, come here often, perhaps taken part in fads and other things, learned, felt, lived in MFGG.

I have one...

The name is Cloud Castle.

The track is in the sky, on clouds. A bit after the starting line, there is a rainbow that leads into a huge castle that is made only of clouds. The player(s) has to navigate through the castle.
After the castle, the stage is pretty much like Sky Garden (from the GBA Mario Kart), but with another layout.

Uh, they need to be related to the forums... Like a theme/layout for WIP games.

How about Casual Conversation Castle?
Kinda like Bowser's Castle, only it's not Bowser's and it's used for casual conversations.

Do you honestly believe that? How? A member that contributes to a thread fifty times daily and submits tons and tons of items is going to get attention pretty quickly.

Black Boo... I was looking through the topic and thought maybe a dangerous lava stage would become one of the tracks. One of the harder ones, because driving off will require the Lakitu to save you. >_>

I feel like clearing up some air.

Getting mad at someone for using MFGGers in an MFGG game is like getting pissed off at someone for putting Mario in a Mario fangame. So what if he's using the same characters as the ones in your game? It's an MFGG game so it should have MFGGers.

While it is usually true that newer members are not as well known as older ones, it can go reverse. New people might not know who the hell older members are. In the end, if the creator wants to put someone in, that's his damn choice and his choice only. If he thinks a person is well known is up to him.

And lastly, instead of bickering with sprites and about who gets to be in, you should just use some Super Mario Kart place-holder sprites and get an engine going.
