DOSBox doesn't care about the host system's drives. Think of it as an emulator (it is one, after all). You have to create a "drive" in it by mounting a folder in your host's filesystem. For instance, make a folder on your host system "c:\dosbox\drive_c", and then do this within DOSBox itself:

Z:\> mount c c:\dosbox\drive_c

this creates a "c:" drive in DOSBox whose files go into the real folder "c:\dosbox\drive_c"
to change to it, it'd look a little something like this
