Luigi WAS a "Mario edit" in the original SMB3.

Sure, he was different-looking in both 16-bit versions, and it would be nice if a different-looking Luigi was added, but having Luigi as a palette recolor can't very well be considered a fault.

And @Grant: I'm fully aware that Luigi was just a "Mario Edit", but a fat luigi is fugly (****ing ugly) :P

Actually, resizing sprites in high quality causes them to blur, while resizing them in poor quality doesn't. Case in point (although no resizing was involved):

While it may look good on a white background, it's just terrible on a background of any other color.
