Your whole demeanor is just copycat and derivative, but if I keep railing on you then I just get drug into your /b/ hole with you so we should move on to what jas said:

I can see why nobody would want to care, it's certainly easier that way to just accept an invasion of privacy since you've already been violated. But I think it's only fair that awareness is warranted so people who may not be as completely dull and blind can make their own decision about what they want to do with the rest of their time here.

I'm not really interested in that petty argument, you can't change my perception of you when you don't even make the slightest attempt to change your awful attitude towards everything.

I'm more or less just trying to express to people the gravity of this situation (or what the gravity SHOULD be) and maybe hoping they'll figure it out for themselves, even amongst all the people crying that it's perfectly acceptable and we should be voting for Obama instead of caring if our private information was violated.

At the very least this concept needs to be made clear so no one in the future makes the mistake of actually USING their PMs and notepad.

Just put it in the rules then, that admins might read your PMs.

But fact is that it actually happened, and he's still a mod and that brawl topic thing.

That'd be a lot better than the shoulder shrugging going on right now, but even then I think the connotation of these services is too strong and people are going to feel cheated when they're eventually violated because Yoshiman wants to read Jas's PMs.

I would also regret stealing my neighbors mail and reading it just because I happened to have the master key.

Does that make any less wrong?

1) She's not in a position of power.
2) The people who rashly destroyed information are permanently banned (Biddy and Cutman).
3) She was not aware they'd go that far, she thought the "Beards" forum was the extent of it. The punishment she received was suitable.
