Trouble downloading games, doesn't seem to show up

Recently I've been having trouble trying to download some of the games here at MFGG.

After I extract the file and click on the icon for the game, it doesn't seem to show up on my computer. The odd thing is that I'm able to play some of the other games.

I also checked my task manager and took a look at the "processes" tab. I notice that the games that don't work still show up on my processes tab as if they were working.

Is this perhaps a bug on the site, a problem with the game, or a problem with the way I've set up my computer? Help would be much appreciated.

Are you using Windows Vista and trying to open Game Maker 6 games?

Then you need a the Game Maker 6 Vista converter, which is here.

If not, I can't help sorry.

Also, have you extracted the files from the .zip folder as well? In most cases, that procedure is required for the game to load fully.
