The skin needs way more contrast, and the hat's shading is a gradient.
It needs a lot of work, but it isn't that bad.

I'm not a big fan of shading, so I don't know a lot about it. I also kinda like the low contrast skin, but I made a second version using a second pallete.

Great job!

Right now I'm at school, but I have most of the body linart at home. In the meantime, I'd appreciate more comments with constructive critisizm.

Anyways, its the finished version. This is ready to be moved to the Arts Board now.
Also, I'd still like crits on how to make it look better. Its supposed to have low contrast, so don't complain about that.

Good job! That's one big goomba. Oh, and he needs buttons on his overalls.

He's ment to have dark skin, he's in the sewer, where it's shady.

I took Gato's advice and make his skin more skinlike, I took Josiah's advice (from pixeljoint) and I lowered his arm and used less colors, and I took Simonisters advice and added buttons.

Any crits for the goomba?

I think you need to study more spherical shading for the stomach and try to take more from Josiah's edit- as of now it's kinda odd.

Howsa bout that? I used Josiah's as a refrence.
