Help me, Is this right?

I have a friend who is here at my house...
He says he wants to join MFGG.

The problem is I have an account here too.
If he joined with the same IP, would I get banned?

If you say that I think not.Also,couldn´t he wait until he´s at home?

Well... He wants to make one while he's here...

If he does, make sure to inform an admin or mod. If you don't, you'll get accused and most likely banned for duping otherwise. Or, like Latia said, he could wait.

Exactly what I said before.

You just didn't fill him in on what exactly would happen for duping, so I just wanted to fill that part in. I also told him how to create one without getting in trouble by informing a friendly neighborhood staff member. But let me edit the post a bit.

My sister (Truffle) registered on my computer with the same IP as mine, but she informed she's my sister in her introduction post.

You're forgetting one other thing -- the person's style of posting. I'm a maintainer of my fansite's forums (NOT to be confused with my fangame production HQ which is in my sig) so I know.

To the point -- check the person's style of posting, especially if he/she has recently gotten their account revoked. If the style matches the posting of the banned account in question, then chances are it's a dupe/someone attempting to evade a ban.

Well, I lead my forums and had a few who hated me to no bounds, and one joined multiple times. (There's still no clear reason why that guy hated me, he just posted a topic, his first one, about hating my old name, Dimentio44.) There was a time he joined under a completely different attitude, thinking I was gone since I was now Nad. but once we discovered the IP, and he started to catch on to me, RetroX and I took no chances. You're right, though, but all in all investigation is always required IMO.
