Are these sprites called something?, Like have a certain name style to them?

Are these sprites called something? Like have a certain name style to them? So I can find them faster on the internet, they are really good!

What you have there is a variety of different things.

1. The Thwomp appears to look re-vamped SMW-ish.
2. Shy Guys are Yoshi Story GBA Tech Demo models. The models are from N64, but this was a port.
3. The Magikoopa is in NSMB style.

These aren't sprites, they're models in 2d format.

The reason they look so nice is because they are 3d models. When you are looking at a 3d model in a video game, you can tell it's 3d when you rotate it, but a television can only display in two dimensions.

A dice cube for instance. It has 6 sides, but only three can be seen at once. Your "sprites" are just one model taken in different frames and angles.

Oh, well I can still use half of the sprites in that model to make a good looking one.

of course only the shyguy's a render but lol

The Thwomp is a 3D style SMW sprite from Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
The Wario Ball and Magikoopa is custom NSMB style.
The Shy Guy is from the Yoshi's Story GBA demo.

In short, they are all 2D-styled 3D-sprites/renders.

The term is "pre-rendered sprites".

People should make more sprites like these...

i made the wario ball and the magikoopa
the wareio ball was a model but the magikoopa is a sprite that took me quite some time to make theyve been in the queue for ages now
not the wario ball though, thats pretty much useless
