I like how some people act like they really are being banned for three months, and not just getting one single forum closed off.

The actual time of ban may be a single day. After that day, they can while away their time in the rest of the forum, because hey, look at that! There's more to it! Wow!

And thus, they visit the rest of the board and become more a part of the community, and God knows, maybe even contribute to the community through their own art or fangames.

Most people contribute in their own way that Black Squirrel's graph doesn't show, to the rest of you so called "non-contributing" people. Don't think you're worthless because you don't fangame or make art, because really, without some of you, we wouldn't have some really cool games or comics, and you guys contributed in that way. Sure, it's indirect, but it's a contribution.

AND THUS BLACK SQUIRREL IS ACTUALLY WRONG IN THAT ASPECT but hey, he's a human being sitting behind a computer screen, it's bound to happen.

And it won't be the last time, this wasn't the first time, but I'm sure they won't be catastrphic (at least I hope not) in the future.

Also, it is two months now, for the CCC ban, and that's not really that long.

Especially since it's almost summer and like the entire board has much better things to do than post on a Mario forum

At least I'd hope so

The board that interests you the most being shut off for a few months is like being banned, you can't discuss the place you most want to.

Two months isn't banned but I am still really pissed at this get a warn (even foir the smallest reason) from the CCC for a long time!

60 days is a quite a while but it isn't as bad as 3

What'd be nice is to have a strike system for ccc access like before

3 bans after you get your ccc access and you are permanently banned from the CCC. (doesn't include perma bans or for serious offenses. Instead, those you get perma banned from CCC in one strike)

Don't even get me started on how much I was treated unfairly at the start which made me create dupes.

Saying stupid without context is meaningless and there's no reason you should be punished. Calling your parents stupid, or calling your parents' dinner guests stupid, on the other hand, is a different matter. And telling them to suck you off is yet a different matter entirely.

I don't know the story behind your beginnings here except that we had Joey and Trasher at the time. But even if you got a rough start because of that, it's no reason that you can't exercise self-control now and put some distance between yourself and the last entry in your warn log.

BTW your 2 months are up tomorrow, apparently.

Personally I think the entire post has such a negative, like it or lump it attitude about it and I don't feel comfortable congratulating someone in a thread like that or thinking of these as positive changes. I mean they are, but 7 days for a first ban (guess what, a lot of members that could potentially grow to become awesome members won't bother), or a month for something as minor as posting about "mod 'mistakes'". Really, come on.
