What's your favorite fangame?

My favorite fangame would probably be Super Mario Blue Twilight. It has a good theme and good bosses, and great gameplay. What's your favorite fangame?

First, and favorite, MFGG game I've ever played. Still waiting for #3 though. :P

Check it out it's amazing -- the best fangame I've ever played

That game had clashing sprites EVERYWHERE, Zero Kirby.

Really? I remember the style being pretty consistent. Could be there were some exceptions; I'm not sure. (Maybe those propeller things that are there after the airship crashes?)

The main thing about that game that made it less enjoyable for me was the fact that it was really hard and apparently you needed to get a long way in order to save. Otherwise it ruled, in my opinion.


I'm not sure what my favorite main site game is. There are a few really awesome ones, though, like TSB, SMBTDX, Super Luigi Dreams, Super Mario Epic 2 (yes, in spite of the awful TGF movement!), New Supermario 2, Super Mario Fart, and SMB DDX. (No particular order.)

Well maybe it was me, but I thought some of the graphics weren't even above sub-par, especially the animations.

Oh well, it doesn't matter.

TSB, SMBTDX, SMBDDX, MvsKoopa's, SLD1&2 and more!

They were actually really nice.

It's the first game to get a real ten out of ten from me, and I do count Graphics when I want to hand those out. No flaws must be had.

Another good fangame I can think of right off the bat is Super Luigi Dreams (I still play it when I'm bored from time to time, nice work Hatman).

Tri's Mareyo Gaem is also really fun when I get bored despite the shortness of it all.

Toad Strikes Back

I have a bunch of other favorites though.

The graphics of Mario vs the Koopas had some flaws, such as the title screen and a few tile mistakes in the overworld, along with the curtain graphic and a few other things, which prevented me from playing the game for the longest time

I just recently tried it out again (about a week ago) and I now understand why it got so much praise, the level graphics were amazing, the levels were huge, the cutscenes in the middle of gameplay was an awesome concept, and I loved how much variety he packed into one level; it's a great game

I just hate the curtain graphic and the title screen but that's pretty much it

Oh yeah, that game rocked.

I wonder how many people still have it? (Actually it's probably still downloadable from the original forum topic.)

It might be there, I'll go and check.

EDIT: Yep, it is. 200 downloads... wow. Just search "mareyo" and you'll find it pretty easily.

Also, just thought of another, Super Mario Classic Two Super Mario Galaxy Pinball, that's still kinda fun going through it again.

I used to not know what the "(no rly)" was, and thought it said "gnarly" or something.

But it's awesome

All these other games just say "The End"

They never say, "You Win"

And then reassure you by saying, "No, really"

I've never felt more... appreciated.
