Well this is kinda lame., Real life stuff, I suggest you ignore it

My mom just received a phone call after getting a check up recently, it it appears that she is believed to have breast cancer, and not in the early stages too, they think that it is so developed that she only has a few months left. Now they are checking it over again, just to be sure there's no other possibility, but they are pretty sure of this. The main problem here is that she had just recently undergone a divorce since my dad was cheating on her, and he was just laid off, so we're in a huge financial slump, and if she dies soon, that means he'll have to give up the new job he just found so he can actually take care of the house and my brother and I.

So if I uh, act anal any time soon, please openly tell me, as I don't want to cause problems for anyone here as this is kinda clouding my mind now. Feel free to laugh I suppose, I guess it's ironic.

Wow, that's really sad and actually kind of what one of my friends is going through now.

Well, his mom doesn't have cancer, but his parents divorced because of the same reasons and they are in a financial slump as well.

I hope there is something they can do for your mom.

Things seem to be getting worse, as they didn't call her today as they said they would.

Whoa, that's incredibly depressing. Sorry to hear about it, and I will make sure that if you end up acting less agreeably on the forums than usual because of being on edge from this, I won't react in a way that will make things worse. I hope others will act similarly.

She finally got a call back today, and it turns out she's fine. The woman that told her she may have cancer just made an overblown statement instead of just telling her that there's always a possibility of having breast cancer which is why they were checking again, and is possibly being fired, according to the person that called her today.

dont give up hope, they told my aunt the same thing a couple years ago and she is fine now, and if money is an issue, im sure there is some sort of financial aid program.

Glad things are a-okay. I cannot image my mother having cancer and having a few months to live. I'd probably kill myself. My mom is awesome.
