to be honest, i dont know much about itunes other than i use it to play and store music. , so i could be wrong. unless your music was on disc or a local network drive or you haven't saved your hardrive you have lost your music. Sorry. What I like to do:
-my family has 3 shared drives for our stuff and we put copies of our things there, that way, if a computer dies, we still have our stuff. you shouldn't copy stuff from program files though, that takes up huge amounts of space.
-burn it to disc or put it on a USB device, or an MP3 Player for music
Or you could get your music downloaded from the www like everyone else does these days.
Simple as that.

A little writing guide:
Do not be redundant;do not use more words to express an idea or concept than you really need to use. Be specific, more or less. Delete commas, that are,not necessary. Never use a big word where a diminutive expression would suffice. Eliminate quotations. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said,'I hate quotations.' Who needs rhetorical questions? Exaggeration is a million times worse than understatement.
